When Daniele Cavallo fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Farafulla FC's protests and gave Daniele Cavallo a yellow card for diving instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Ortiz couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Real Madrid de Guatemala had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
