The Ayapaso FC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Ayapaso FC's Elias Satordi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Ado in the 10th minute of play forced Capo de Provincia's goalkeeper Orlín Almeyda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hector Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlín Almeyda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Vincent, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes, Ovidio Kaiet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ayapaso FC and the Capo de Provincia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Ayapaso FC got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Kaiet. After a rather tough play, Capo de Provincia's Ofelio Hinojosa got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Paulino Vincent ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orlín Almeyda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 26th minute Ovidio Kaiet collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. When Adelmo Amenábar fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capo de Provincia's protests and gave Adelmo Amenábar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Hector Elazar made a precise shot to the right of Orlín Almeyda. Capo de Provincia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Orlín Almeyda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Elazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Capo de Provincia's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Felo came free, but Orlín Almeyda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Capo de Provincia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ayapaso FC were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adelmo Amenábar made a kick off. Hector Elazar struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Orlín Almeyda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ayapaso FC. Paulino Vincent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hector Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd play minute Paulino Vincent came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Orlín Almeyda. 0-5. Paulino Vincent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulino Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 77 minutes on the clock, Madeo Klein commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Capo de Provincia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! Capo de Provincia:s Orlín Almeyda showed great skill when he stopped Fidel Gaufred:s penalty. Orlín Almeyda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Elazar in the 85th minute of the match. Amadeo Felo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Orlín Almeyda came out and tried to block the shot, but Amadeo Felo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 89th minute. Capo de Provincia's Orlín Almeyda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Elazar in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Elazar in the 97th minute of play forced Capo de Provincia's goalkeeper Orlín Almeyda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulino Vincent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlín Almeyda having to interfere.
