The referee ignored Defensores del Albinegro's protests and gave Ariel Iraido a yellow card for diving instead. 14 minutes into the game, Halit Gürgan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores del Albinegro the free kick. In the 14th match minute, ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halit Gürgan to maneuver through the defense. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Cumali Oykan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Iraido in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Özgür Göktürk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cipriano Maore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cipriano Maore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mahir Buyrukalp got free with Cipriano Maore in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute, Mustafa Namık Ihlamur sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Defensores del Albinegro's Cipriano Maore didn't even have to move. A collision led to ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Özgür Göktürk hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Albinegro's Epifanio Heli got a free kick in the 35th minute. After 39 played minutes ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ got a freekick which was hit by Kıvanç Yuvakuran. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Iraido in the 40th minute of play forced ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's goalkeeper Cumali Oykan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cumali Oykan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Iraido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipriano Maore was a little too slow when Zülfikar Özkurt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a left leg Cipriano Maore saved Defensores del Albinegro from getting behind. Özgür Dayı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Defensores del Albinegro's goal looked a bit too open when Özgür Göktürk came free, but Cipriano Maore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Defensores del Albinegro booed when ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kıvanç Yuvakuran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ariel Iraido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Cumali Oykan made a huge save. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Defensores del Albinegro's goalkeeper Cipriano Maore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cipriano Maore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgür Göktürk in the 81st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Özgür Göktürk managed to get in a good position for a shot. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's supporters rose to their feet, but Özgür Göktürk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Maore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute Özgür Göktürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Maore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mustafa Namık Ihlamur in the 87th minute. Halit Gürgan got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
