Valentin Roldanillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pär Ahlrot in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Biörkquist in the 8th minute of play forced Vamo A Calmarno's goalkeeper Valentin Roldanillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Greger Wickander notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vamo A Calmarno's Valentin Roldanillo. Valentin Roldanillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Vamo A Calmarno's Amadeo Lehior slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of William Mellberg. Roberto Maria kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. William Mellberg made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Amadeo Lehior sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Edward Thidén notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Vamo A Calmarno's Valentin Roldanillo. Valentin Roldanillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Vamo A Calmarno's William Mellberg threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amadeo Lehior, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 47th minute, Saltsjöbaden IF's Robert Östensson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Robert Östensson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Saltsjöbaden IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Robert Östensson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Amadeo Lehior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. William Mellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Åke Biörkquist got free with Valentin Roldanillo in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 66 minutes, Greger Wickander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saltsjöbaden IF and the Vamo A Calmarno players grew even worse after the yellow card. 71 minutes into the match, Saltsjöbaden IF's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Lehior came free, but William Mellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Stig-Åke Biörkquist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saltsjöbaden IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
