After 4 minutes of play, Talleres's Hermengildo Cesario made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Teunissen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rigoberto Olayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Colen in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Ronny Colen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Olayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Dieguito Maradona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felix Teunissen. Dieguito Maradona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. NFC Eagles 22's Felix Teunissen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save NFC Eagles 22 from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute of the match, Primitivo Fidele tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Felix Teunissen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 21st match minute, NFC Eagles 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Handi Harri to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Hermengildo Cesario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talleres's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Cesario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Teunissen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the game, Godfried Steelman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NFC Eagles 22's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres the free kick. Ronny Colen kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Peru dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felix Teunissen, 3-0. When Nicanor Sengrat fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talleres's protests and gave Nicanor Sengrat a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Sengrat. The supporters of Talleres booed when NFC Eagles 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronny Colen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Teunissen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieguito Maradona in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Fidele came free, but Felix Teunissen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pastor Montrell made in the 41st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rodolfo Peru. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Fidele in the 43rd minute of play forced NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Felix Teunissen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Pastor Montrell hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Handi Harri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godfried Steelman hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. NFC Eagles 22's Ronny Colen got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Cesario came free, but Felix Teunissen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Teunissen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Fidele in the 63rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ronny Colen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rigoberto Olayo was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, NFC Eagles 22's Ronny Colen got a free kick in the 68th minute. NFC Eagles 22's Handi Harri got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Handi Harri off the ground. A collision led to NFC Eagles 22 getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Handi Harri hit a great ball. Felix Teunissen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Fidele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Hermengildo Cesario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talleres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 78 minutes into the game, Dieguito Maradona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Felix Teunissen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felix Teunissen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dieguito Maradona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Rigoberto Olayo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, NFC Eagles 22's Timmie Wieringh got a free kick in the 91st minute. Talleres's Maximo Solustiano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for NFC Eagles 22. After 95 minutes, Ronny Colen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NFC Eagles 22 and the Talleres players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th minute Primitivo Fidele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Teunissen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
