Isto Wallden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Palmquist in the 42nd minute of the match. If Jan-Erik Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 52nd minute, Daavid Venäläinen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kultapossukerho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Tommy Palmquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. In the 81st minute, Sävedalen's Tommy Palmquist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isto Wallden. Isto Wallden yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Tommy Palmquist struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Isto Wallden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sävedalen. Tom Frisk hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes Sävedalen got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Palmquist. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sävedalen's goalkeeper Hannes Johansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Sävedalen's goal looked a bit too open when Reino Leonoff came free, but Hannes Johansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sävedalen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kultapossukerho.
