After 5 played minutes Sävedalen got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Lange. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Elias Landin put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Erik Väärtnõu. Elias Landin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Erik Väärtnõu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of JK Shefid booed when Sävedalen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Erik Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Väärtnõu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Walroth went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Erik Väärtnõu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Landin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arne Õigus was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Elias Landin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Erik Väärtnõu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Erik Bokelund fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sävedalen's protests and gave Erik Bokelund a yellow card for diving instead. Erik Väärtnõu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Landin in the 73rd minute. JK Shefid's Arne Õigus suffered a sprained foot after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Rudolf Lange's late challenge caught a JK Shefid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sävedalen's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
