Spectators: 7577 (Terracing: 5683, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pedro Bieito got the match started through his kick off. Anacleto Madaleno was a little too slow when Dieguinho Barros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 2-0. Anacleto Madaleno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Corrêa in the 9th minute of the match. Marcelo Brito came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Cavaliers FC's Pedro Bieito. But to his dismay, Pedro Bieito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 19th minute Maximino Cordarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Atlético Capixaba got a freekick which was hit by Romeu Diniz. In the 24th minute of the match, Ciro Corrêa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anacleto Madaleno saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Aznar in the 26th minute of play forced Atlético Capixaba's goalkeeper Marcelo Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, Atlético Capixaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieguinho Barros in the 41st minute of play forced Cavaliers FC's goalkeeper Anacleto Madaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Atlético Capixaba getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Romeu Diniz hit a great ball. Marcelo Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Bieito in the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, Dieguinho Barros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anacleto Madaleno. Dieguinho Barros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernandinho França to make the kick off. In the 57thth minute of the game Dieguinho Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cavaliers FC's Anacleto Madaleno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Bartolo Cesaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Cavaliers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho França came free, but Anacleto Madaleno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Bautista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeu Diniz charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeu Diniz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Romeu Diniz hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Atlético Capixaba's Marcelo Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Cordarius in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Cavaliers FC's Maximino Cordarius dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. Cavaliers FC made a substitution. Jeronimo Beti replaced Jonathan Piearres. After 78 minutes, Silvano Bautista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cavaliers FC and the Atlético Capixaba players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cavaliers FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. In the 91st minute, Silvano Bautista reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelo Brito. The goal made the score 4-5. In the 95th minute, Silvano Bautista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Atlético Capixaba supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cavaliers FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cavaliers FC.
