During this time Sportivo Chupeño's players had a chance to rest. 20 minutes into the match, Sportivo Chupeño's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Cumplido came free, but Silvestre Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Baez FC booed when Sportivo Chupeño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xamo Abascal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Barni Didier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baez FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Barni Didier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Abancens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Cumplido struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Silvestre Abancens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baez FC. Silvestre Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Cumplido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubén Concha in the 36th minute of play forced Sportivo Chupeño's goalkeeper Silvestre Abancens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaskon Abeita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Jon-Ander Bazaes made a huge save. 43 minutes into the game, Filiberto Beitia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Silvestre Abancens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Gaskon Abeita made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Baez FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Abelado Iriarte hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Baez FC defense, Vedillo Abeijon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jon-Ander Bazaes. The Baez FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jon-Ander Bazaes should have stopped the shot. Filiberto Beitia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvestre Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Beitia, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to Sportivo Chupeño getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Vedillo Abeijon hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Gaskon Abeita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Enekoitz Abadia notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Baez FC's Jon-Ander Bazaes. Jon-Ander Bazaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Baez FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Filiberto Beitia hit a great ball. Baez FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sportivo Chupeño had won, even though Baez FC had held more of the ball.
