Spectators: 7516 (Terracing: 5638, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Baez FC's Antonio Cumplido started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, Baez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Jose Mac Kenzie to maneuver through the defense. Emmanuel Campuzano kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Jon-Ander Bazaes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nemesio Rios's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 13th play minute Abelado Iriarte came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ulises Sidro. 1-0. If Emmanuel Campuzano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jon-Ander Bazaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Aurre in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Ramon Aurre shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jon-Ander Bazaes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jon-Ander Bazaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Rios in the 40th minute of the match. Jon-Ander Bazaes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emmanuel Campuzano's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute of the match Club A. Chipa y Tereré got a corner. Baez FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ramon Aurre ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Ramon Aurre almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Baez FC's Jon-Ander Bazaes did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Campuzano in the 47th minute of play forced Baez FC's goalkeeper Jon-Ander Bazaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Emmanuel Campuzano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jon-Ander Bazaes was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After having played for 56 minutes, Ramon Aurre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Aurre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute of the match, Emmanuel Campuzano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jon-Ander Bazaes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abelado Iriarte during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes Baez FC got a freekick which was hit by Abelado Iriarte. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Albino Godoy was substituted for Silvano Quinteros. Abelado Iriarte hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Emmanuel Campuzano got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Baez FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club A. Chipa y Tereré:s goal. Jon-Ander Bazaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Rios in the 82nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomero Seber during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Baez FC booed when Club A. Chipa y Tereré was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Seber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jon-Ander Bazaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanuel Campuzano in the 94th minute of the match. In the 98th minute Nemesio Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon-Ander Bazaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Club A. Chipa y Tereré eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
