Nicodim Fulga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carl Atkins's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Carl Atkins sped through FC Amicii Boys's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicodim Fulga. The supporters of FC Amicii Boys booed when The Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Farrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carl Atkins in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicodim Fulga saved FC Amicii Boys from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carl Atkins to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Amicii Boys's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Carl Atkins 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. After some careless play in the FC Amicii Boys defense, Timothy Lemerond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicodim Fulga. The FC Amicii Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicodim Fulga should have stopped the shot. FC Amicii Boys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Carl Atkins scored to the left of an out of position Nicodim Fulga, making the score, 0-7. 76 minutes into the match, Carl Atkins notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of FC Amicii Boys's Nicodim Fulga. Nicodim Fulga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carl Atkinss short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Nicodim Fulga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to The Tigers getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Roger Barton hit a great ball. FC Amicii Boys's Nicodim Fulga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save FC Amicii Boys from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the match, FC Amicii Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Atkins came free, but Nicodim Fulga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Atkins who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Nicodim Fulga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carl Atkins in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicodim Fulga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Tigers eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
