Lorenzo Quintin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toro Abancens in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute Toro Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Quintin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saverio Errando during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Munat Tayka booed when Lagrima en Jarrita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Errando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Quintin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernabe Abeita in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Mauricio Abellaneda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lorenzo Quintin, 1-0. In the 29th minute, Munat Tayka's Bernabe Abeita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lorenzo Quintin. Lorenzo Quintin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 39 minutes into the match, Munat Tayka's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Mateo came free, but Gabriel Abar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Guillelme hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Zenaido Abenda struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Lorenzo Quintin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Munat Tayka. After a rather tough play, Munat Tayka's Nicodemo Abastas got a free kick in the 55th minute. A collision led to Lagrima en Jarrita getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Julian Transito hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Munat Tayka's Mauricio Abellaneda broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. The Munat Tayka fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lagrima en Jarrita had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
