Amadeo Gerazan hit a great ball. Black Devils's Camilo Mondragón proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Black Devils from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Tello got free with Camilo Mondragón in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camilo Mondragón made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Gaston Guillelmo sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquilino Mattin during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes CA Trapito got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Mattin. Camilo Mondragón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Mattin in the 22nd minute of the match. Camilo Mondragón didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquilino Mattin went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Silverio Mirande scored 3-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Mondragón, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Aquilino Mattin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camilo Mondragón. That made the score 4-0 in the 32 minute of play. Gaston Guillelmo came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Camilo Mondragón could save by the left post. 39 minutes into the game, Orlando Tello recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Camilo Mondragón. Orlando Tello showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Camilo Mondragón made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Guillelmo in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo-Enrique Bochini to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Aquilino Mattin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Mondragón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
