The tension between the Oylimpiamos Ψ and the Purcaresti CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Oylimpiamos Ψ's Santi Villafranca got a free kick in the 16th minute. Marius Timaru took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leo Puncet. Leo Puncet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Dinu Aursulesei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Leo Puncet made a huge save. Pudes Bachiller struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Damian Toader didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oylimpiamos Ψ. A collision led to Oylimpiamos Ψ getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Santi Villafranca hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Purcaresti CSS's Dinu Aursulesei ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leo Puncet. Leo Puncet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Leo Puncet was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Dinu Aursulesei capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dinu Aursulesei really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After having played for 48 minutes, Pudes Bachiller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oylimpiamos Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pudes Bachiller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pudes Bachiller was the one to do the kick off. Oylimpiamos Ψ's Inautzi Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inautzi Abreu got free with Damian Toader in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eduard Glodeanu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Pudes Bachiller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Inautzi Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Puncet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Aursulesei in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Eduard Glodeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purcaresti CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduard Glodeanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gigi Drăgan fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Purcaresti CSS's protests and gave Gigi Drăgan a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Purcaresti CSS got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Drăgan. In the 70th minute of the match Hibai Luna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damian Toader skillfully saved the ball. After 75 minutes of play, Purcaresti CSS's Gigi Drăgan made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leo Puncet was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the match, Oylimpiamos Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Timaru came free, but Leo Puncet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Oylimpiamos Ψ's Elpidio Arbizu got a free kick in the 81st minute. Leo Puncet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Teodorescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Hibai Luna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inautzi Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Toader read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Purcaresti CSS had won after a very even match.
