He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KFC Uerdingen 05 reached it. Oscar Sandkühler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on SRP-Laguna's corner Donato Arantes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Oscar Sandkühler quite easily take care of the ball. Oscar Sandkühler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerson Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Ehrhard Bonacker reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roberto Barbosa. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Nelsinho Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to SRP-Laguna getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Gerson Leão hit a great ball. Friedemann Brede's late challenge caught a SRP-Laguna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Friedemann Brede helped the player get up and apologised. Friedemann Brede kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Donato Arantes hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes SRP-Laguna got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Leão. Max Bruhnke came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roberto Barbosa could save by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerson Leão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Pierre Van Hoojdonk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Van Hoojdonk in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goal looked a bit too open when Max Bruhnke came free, but Roberto Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Rau in the 93rd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KFC Uerdingen 05 had played much better football throughout.
