The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Gilberto Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Couto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anacleto Perez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Supay Puka Huasi FC's Anacleto Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Nunes in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paulo Correia to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Gilberto Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anacleto Perez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Couto went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute, André Luís Nunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermengildo Acosta in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cássio Gaspar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 42nd minute, Pedro Paulo Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eusebio Matei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Gaspar having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gilberto Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Couto got free with Anacleto Perez in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Acosta in the 63rd minute of play forced ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's goalkeeper Cássio Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Supay Puka Huasi FC were victorious despite being under pressure from ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS for much of the match.
