Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Damaso Bilbo made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesus Etxekopar during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Jesus Etxekopar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Damaso Bilbo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but William Troisi was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Meerkats FC's zone, Damaso Bilbo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Troisi came out of the goal and Damaso Bilbo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 minutes of play, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Damaso Bilbo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. William Troisi was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damaso Bilbo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Troisi saved Meerkats FC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antoine Miggiani during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Meerkats FC's Antoine Miggiani got a free kick in the 20th minute. Damaso Bilbo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Flavio Garin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antoine Miggiani in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Fabio Rapa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Flavio Garin. Fabio Rapa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Damaso Bilbo in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Meerkats FC's goalie prevented a goal. Arthur Teuma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Flavio Garin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Flavio Garin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ from getting a goal against them. Damaso Bilbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Troisi having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The crowd rose to their feet as C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Damaso Bilbo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of William Troisi. That made the score 1-2 after 53 minutes of play. With a little luck, Meerkats FC's William Troisi got control of the ball when Cirilo Pietro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cirilo Pietro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but William Troisi firmly grabbed it by the left post. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Cirilo Pietro got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd match minute, Meerkats FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Pavia to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Segundo Delfino hit a great ball. Meerkats FC's William Troisi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Bilbo in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Meerkats FC's Timothy De Battista got a free kick in the 69th minute. William Troisi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cirilo Pietro. 72 minutes into the match, Damaso Bilbo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of William Troisi, 1-3. Damaso Bilbo in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of William Troisi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Antoine Miggiani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Flavio Garin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Meerkats FC's Fabio Rapa got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Rapa came free, but Flavio Garin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match Stephen Bonnici shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Garin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Meerkats FC's Timothy De Battista got a free kick in the 84th minute. A hard shot 85 in the game by Damaso Bilbo from a close distance when the talented William Troisi managed to make a qualified save. Meerkats FC's players were relieved. In the 90th minute, Antoine Miggiani made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Garin. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
