In the 13th minute, 孔洲宁 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remo Steingher was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Chancy Olympique's Remo Steingher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 孔洲宁 in the 17th minute of play. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-3 when 孔洲宁 sped through Chancy Olympique's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Remo Steingher. In the 24th minute, Gabor Helfenstein reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 于洋渊. The goal made the score 1-3. Remo Steingher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 孔洲宁, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes Chancy Olympique got a freekick which was hit by Zelimir Marty. After some careless play in the Chancy Olympique defense, 傅志骏 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remo Steingher. The Chancy Olympique fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remo Steingher should have stopped the shot. 贺鹏阳 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remo Steingher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 孔洲宁 in the 35th minute of the match. Remo Steingher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 贺鹏阳, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 邵洲适 during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wool United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, 于洋渊, was totally fooled by Chancy Olympique's Zelimir Marty, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 贺鹏阳 hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

After a defensive mix-up in Wool United's zone, Claude Zurbuchen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 于洋渊 came out of the goal and Claude Zurbuchen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Zelimir Marty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Chancy Olympique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Zurbuchen to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th match minute, Wool United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 尤松耀 to maneuver through the defense. If Gabor Helfenstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 minutes of play, Wool United's 傅志骏 made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remo Steingher was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Chancy Olympique booed when Wool United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. 肖强希 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remo Steingher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 傅志骏 in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Wool United's 贺鹏阳 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Remo Steingher. Remo Steingher yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. Gabor Helfenstein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Wool United's 傅志骏 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remo Steingher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. It was a well-played corner which 汪兴宽 managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When 孔洲宁 came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Wool United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 孔洲宁 couldn't finish the play. Zelimir Marty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 于洋渊 having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wool United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
