After a rather tough play, Chancy Olympique's Zelimir Marty got a free kick in the 5th minute. Wilson Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Remo Steingher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toninho Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabor Helfenstein in the 14th minute of play. Remo Steingher made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Wilson Favoretto sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marquinhos Meirelles in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remo Steingher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Gabor Helfenstein made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Chancy Olympique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zelimir Marty to maneuver through the defense. If Marquinhos Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Wilson Favoretto sped through Chancy Olympique's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Remo Steingher. After some careless play in the Chancy Olympique defense, Wilson Favoretto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remo Steingher. The Chancy Olympique fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remo Steingher should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilson Favoretto in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remo Steingher saved Chancy Olympique from getting behind. Chancy Olympique's Remo Steingher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Favoretto in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to SC Bertioga getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Conrado Varela hit a great ball. Toninho Trancoso was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zelimir Marty. SC Bertioga walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
