An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Kopacz in the 8th minute of play forced ARAKLISPOR's goalkeeper Asım Enginer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gortaty's Kryspin Kaminski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cüneyd Arıkhan in the 10th minute of play. After some careless play in the Gortaty defense, Cüneyd Arıkhan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kryspin Kaminski. The Gortaty fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kryspin Kaminski should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute, Karol Kopacz made a precise shot to the right of Asım Enginer. ARAKLISPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Karol Kopacz scored 1-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Asım Enginer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Asım Enginer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Kopacz in the 20th minute of play. Asım Enginer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Kopacz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes, Karol Kopacz made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. ARAKLISPOR's Asım Enginer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ali Cengiz Akçabay hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, Gortaty's Czeslaw Skrzypiec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Asım Enginer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 34th minute Cüneyd Arıkhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Kaminski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asım Enginer came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Gortaty's Karol Kopacz. But to his dismay, Karol Kopacz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Karol Kopacz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asım Enginer came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gortaty's Karol Kopacz. But to his dismay, Karol Kopacz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Asım Enginer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Czeslaw Skrzypiec in the 47th minute of the match. The ARAKLISPOR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gortaty were winning 1-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karol Kopacz to make the kick off. Asım Enginer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Karol Kopacz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 51 minute of play. Kamil Cebel hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Karol Kopacz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Asım Enginer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arkadiusz Grajewski during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ARAKLISPOR getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Sakut Ademoğlu hit a great ball. Gilbert Zbikowski missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 70 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Asım Enginer right hand side. The supporters of Gortaty booed when ARAKLISPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamil Cebel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gortaty's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ARAKLISPOR the free kick. In the 87th minute, Czeslaw Skrzypiec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Asım Enginer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9. Asım Enginer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Kopacz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The ARAKLISPOR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gortaty were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
