Spectators: 7598 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcus Maher took the kick off in the first half of the match. Claude Tuttle's late challenge caught a Loco De Remate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claude Tuttle helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Claude Tuttle. In the 3rd minute of the match Natalio Ur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quintin Saldana skillfully saved the ball. When Tyson Stanford fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cosmos Soccer Club's protests and gave Tyson Stanford a yellow card for diving instead. Tyson Stanford hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute of the match Natalio Ur shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quintin Saldana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Natalio Ur charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natalio Ur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alvaro Resto hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Gerardo Bibiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Marcus Maher fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 31st minute, Jonah Dobbs reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Samuel Mancio. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Orlanda in the 36th minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Quintin Saldana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quintin Saldana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Resto, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Resto came free, but Quintin Saldana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quintin Saldana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Orlanda, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 46th minute, Zeledon Ixona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anibal Marquez was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Gerardo Bibiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sheldon Moran struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Samuel Mancio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cosmos Soccer Club. Samuel Mancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Maher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Fulgencio Artal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Resto scored 1-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quintin Saldana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 76 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Tyson Stanford. In the 85th match minute, Loco De Remate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Gutxi to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Tuttle came free, but Samuel Mancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Claude Tuttle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cosmos Soccer Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
