Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Matheo Gaborit took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Gortaty booed when Chaponnay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugues Delas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Matheo Gaborit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Kaminski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chaponnay FC's Pierre-Antoine Joron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Skrzypiec in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Czeslaw Skrzypiec managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gortaty's supporters rose to their feet, but Czeslaw Skrzypiec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre-Antoine Joron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jedrzej Pisarczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chaponnay FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Karol Kopacz 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. A collision led to Chaponnay FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Flavian Cozic hit a great ball. The supporters of Chaponnay FC booed when Gortaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jedrzej Pisarczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Gortaty's Jerzy Konopka got a free kick in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karol Kopacz was the one to do the kick off. Czeslaw Skrzypiec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thierry Rouge hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Gortaty's Kryspin Kaminski got control of the ball when Matheo Gaborit tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 65 played minutes Gortaty got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Skrzypiec. 68 minutes into the match, Chaponnay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jedrzej Pisarczyk came free, but Pierre-Antoine Joron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gortaty's Jedrzej Pisarczyk got a free kick in the 69th minute. Jedrzej Pisarczyk hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Karol Kopacz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Gortaty booed when Chaponnay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavian Cozic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karol Kopacz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Pierre-Antoine Joron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Thierry Rouge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chaponnay FC and the Gortaty players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Chaponnay FC's Matheo Gaborit dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Despite being the better team, Chaponnay FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
