Ermegildo Matxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Vârlan in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes of play, Romanian Gods™'s Vintilă Vârlan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermegildo Matxin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abel Sayvion lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Ermegildo Matxin had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Iulian Chiliman's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Romanian Gods™'s Moise Negru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Romanian Gods™ from getting a goal against them. Angelo Valentine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Moise Negru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Iulian Chiliman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Romanian Gods™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Valentine made a kick off. If Serafin Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Araoz's late challenge caught a Romanian Gods™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Araoz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club Atletico Fenix getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Isidro Araoz hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Marin Lepuș took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Ermegildo Matxin to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iulian Chiliman got free with Ermegildo Matxin in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Romanian Gods™'s goal looked a bit too open when Julio Matro came free, but Moise Negru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Romanian Gods™'s zone, Julio Matro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moise Negru came out of the goal and Julio Matro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doru Zbârciog could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ermegildo Matxin made a huge save. With a little luck, Club Atletico Fenix's Ermegildo Matxin got control of the ball when Iulian Chiliman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 75 played minutes Club Atletico Fenix got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Felo. The long shot by Vintilă Vârlan in the 76th minute really tested Ermegildo Matxin's skills. In the 78th minute of the match, Emil Văidianu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ermegildo Matxin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Julio Matro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Negru having to interfere. Ermegildo Matxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iulian Chiliman, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Iulian Chiliman in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ermegildo Matxin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marin Lepuș got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 93 played minutes Romanian Gods™ got a freekick which was hit by Marin Lepuș. The Romanian Gods™ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Romanian Gods™ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
