With his leg Urbes Perdiz managed to avoid a goal in the 2ndth minute, when Buitenhout FC's Wesley Kiewit fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Huub Erenstein hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Urti Rancaño ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toni Schoonderwoerd was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Astor Sobrido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toni Schoonderwoerd having to make a save. Guillelme Andujar kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Buitenhout FC's Huub Erenstein managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zilar Espantoso in the 19 minute of the game. Rubén-Darío Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herman Sparnaaij fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbes Perdiz having to interfere. Urbes Perdiz was a little too slow when Arjen Rodenboog got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 39th minute, Fredy Bareiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CERRO PORTEÑO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

CERRO PORTEÑO's Xurxo Bastida was substituted for Patrido Puncet. CERRO PORTEÑO made a substitution. Orti Matos replaced Astor Sobrido. Orti Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Toni Schoonderwoerd made a huge save. Arnold Dijkman charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnold Dijkman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rubén-Darío Delgado shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Toni Schoonderwoerd made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Fredy Bareiro sent off a good shot on target. Fredy Bareiro made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 71stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Toni Schoonderwoerd would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Toni Schoonderwoerd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubén-Darío Delgado in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Buitenhout FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobus Siemers to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goal looked a bit too open when Heiko Need came free, but Urbes Perdiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CERRO PORTEÑO's Urbes Perdiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arjen Rodenboog in the 79th minute of play. Harald Kuypers hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Toni Schoonderwoerd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fredy Bareiro in the 83rd minute. In the 88th minute, Orti Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urbes Perdiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arjen Rodenboog in the 90th minute of the match. Herman Sparnaaij fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbes Perdiz having to interfere. Fredy Bareiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the match, Wesley Kiewit notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of CERRO PORTEÑO's Urbes Perdiz. Urbes Perdiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
