Toni Schoonderwoerd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godfredo Marcones in the 3rd minute. Toni Schoonderwoerd made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Aristides Fagondo sent off a good shot on target. Godfredo Marcones struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Toni Schoonderwoerd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.F Cuervos Azulgranas. In the 23rd minute Godfredo Marcones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Schoonderwoerd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Jose Vitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herman Sparnaaij in the 37th minute of play. When Herman Sparnaaij fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buitenhout FC's protests and gave Herman Sparnaaij a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of A.F Cuervos Azulgranas booed when Buitenhout FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Sparnaaij didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to A.F Cuervos Azulgranas getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Laureano Furtado hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godfredo Marcones made a kick off. When Herman Sparnaaij came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Buitenhout FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herman Sparnaaij couldn't finish the play. Toni Schoonderwoerd came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Godfredo Marcones. But to his dismay, Godfredo Marcones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godfredo Marcones in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toni Schoonderwoerd saved Buitenhout FC from getting behind. Toni Schoonderwoerd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Marcones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Vitin was a little too slow when Herman Sparnaaij got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godfredo Marcones in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toni Schoonderwoerd saved Buitenhout FC from getting behind. Roel van Zalingen hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Aristides Fagondo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Laureano Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Buitenhout FC to leave the ground with a draw.
