Tadeu Moyua showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Celestino Alfaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Milio Mondragon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Astor Sobrido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, ADCR Loreto United FC's Armindo Guarda got control of the ball when Celestino Alfaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Celestino Alfaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. CERRO PORTEÑO's supporters rose to their feet, but Celestino Alfaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armindo Guarda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusébio Sacadura's late challenge caught a CERRO PORTEÑO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

CERRO PORTEÑO's Orti Matos was substituted for Astor Sobrido. CERRO PORTEÑO made a substitution. Xurxo Bastida replaced Patrido Puncet. The wind increased when Celestino Alfaro made the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes, Celestino Alfaro made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side.
