Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ernest van der Laan started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Henry Lembeck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otávio Pimenta. Otávio Pimenta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Henry Lembeck came out and tried to block the shot, but Otávio Pimenta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Zijdewind SC's Henry Lembeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Tepedino in the 10th minute of play. Nilmar Tande didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Zijdewind SC's Rudi den Hartog shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Zijdewind SC's Gerard Kok got a free kick in the 13th minute. Olívio Diniz's late challenge caught a Zijdewind SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olívio Diniz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Olívio Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nilmar Tande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernest van der Laan went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luuk Meppelink during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Canarinho Atordoado booed when Zijdewind SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luuk Meppelink didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otávio Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Henry Lembeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allan Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernest van der Laan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilmar Tande having to interfere. Ferdi Dekens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Zijdewind SC's Gerard Kok got a free kick in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Canarinho Atordoado's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Dekens came free, but Nilmar Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilco Theuws received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nilmar Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

A collision led to Zijdewind SC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Pieter-Jan van der Laan hit a great ball. Nilmar Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudi den Hartog in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Canarinho Atordoado got a freekick which was hit by Olívio Diniz. Nilmar Tande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdi Dekens went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Canarinho Atordoado's Nilmar Tande got control of the ball when Wilco Theuws tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, Zijdewind SC's Ferdi Dekens dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Nilmar Tande was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rudi den Hartog showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 79 minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Pieter-Jan van der Laan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Nilmar Tande was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 86 minutes into the match, Canarinho Atordoado's goal looked a bit too open when Rudi den Hartog came free, but Nilmar Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Canarinho Atordoado's zone, Rudi den Hartog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilmar Tande came out of the goal and Rudi den Hartog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Canarinho Atordoado fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Zijdewind SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
