Lieven De Vleeschauwere was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 10th minute, Jeffrey Artois hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lieven De Vleeschauwere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilco Theuws in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Zijdewind SC's Ferdi Dekens dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Lieven De Vleeschauwere made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Ferdi Dekens sent off a good shot on target. Lieven De Vleeschauwere made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferdi Dekens in the 23rd minute. Lieven De Vleeschauwere was a little too slow when Ernest van der Laan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 3-0. Ferdi Dekens succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 27th playminute. Jean-Louis Baert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Zijdewind SC booed when fc eendenpad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sam-Lucas Van Clynenbreugel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdi Dekens kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Ferdi Dekens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Lieven De Vleeschauwere was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 45 minutes into the match, fc eendenpad's goalkeeper Lieven De Vleeschauwere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdi Dekens. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernest van der Laan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, fc eendenpad's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Dekens came free, but Lieven De Vleeschauwere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zijdewind SC's Rudi den Hartog got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lieven De Vleeschauwere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudi den Hartog in the 57th minute of the match. When Martial Cortens fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored fc eendenpad's protests and gave Martial Cortens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Martial Cortens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, fc eendenpad's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Dekens came free, but Lieven De Vleeschauwere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lieven De Vleeschauwere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilco Theuws in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, fc eendenpad's goal looked a bit too open when Rudi den Hartog came free, but Lieven De Vleeschauwere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rudi den Hartog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lieven De Vleeschauwere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdi Dekens, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. fc eendenpad's Lieven De Vleeschauwere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdi Dekens in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, fc eendenpad's goal looked a bit too open when Rudi den Hartog came free, but Lieven De Vleeschauwere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes of play, Zijdewind SC's Ferdi Dekens made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lieven De Vleeschauwere was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lieven De Vleeschauwere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdi Dekens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi Dekens in the 85th minute of play forced fc eendenpad's goalkeeper Lieven De Vleeschauwere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. fc eendenpad's Lieven De Vleeschauwere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdi Dekens in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, fc eendenpad's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Dekens came free, but Lieven De Vleeschauwere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lieven De Vleeschauwere stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilco Theuws's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After a rather tough play, fc eendenpad's Alfred Libreghts got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute Jean-Louis Baert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Lembeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
