Tord Kiempe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Thorsberg in the 6th minute of play forced Canarinho Atordoado's goalkeeper Nilmar Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustav Almkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otávio Pimenta's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Hugo Thorsberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nilmar Tande was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st match minute, ViHörs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Ove Fransson to maneuver through the defense. Toninho Rossi struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Gustav Almkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canarinho Atordoado. 39 minutes into the match, Canarinho Atordoado's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Thorsberg came free, but Nilmar Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Otávio Pimenta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Mattias Samuelsson came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the ViHörs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Samuelsson couldn't finish the play. Olívio Diniz hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Thorsberg made a kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canarinho Atordoado's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elliot Hedström was slow to take the kick. During this time ViHörs's players had a chance to rest. The corner led ViHörs's Elliot Hedström to fire away a dangerous shot which Nilmar Tande despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Toninho Rossi's late challenge caught a ViHörs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toninho Rossi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Canarinho Atordoado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Rossi to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th match minute, Canarinho Atordoado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Félix to maneuver through the defense. If Olívio Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ViHörs booed when Canarinho Atordoado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otávio Pimenta was slow to take the kick. During this time Canarinho Atordoado's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Otávio Pimenta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustav Almkvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. ViHörs's Gustav Almkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dênis Matos in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Canarinho Atordoado getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Célio Félix hit a great ball. Canarinho Atordoado's Guga Pernambucano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tord Kiempe in the 86 minute of the game. Gustav Almkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Rossi in the 90th minute of play. ViHörs's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
