Machado Nieto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Villa in the 14th minute of the match. Eleodoro Cayuela in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Damiano Castagna, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lucas Palacios kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Lucas Palacios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube Esportivo Saudade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acilia Town the free kick. After having played for 38 minutes, Eleodoro Cayuela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Esportivo Saudade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleodoro Cayuela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Acilia Town's Arrigo Cirelli was substituted for Aurelio Mameli. The wind increased when Eleodoro Cayuela made the kick off in the second half. Demetrio Ciapponi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Machado Nieto made a huge save. Alvaro Trevisani kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Paulin Canosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Castagna having to interfere. Demetrio Ciapponi scored 1-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Machado Nieto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardo Alleva was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Paulin Canosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Castagna having to interfere. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube Esportivo Saudade's goalkeeper Machado Nieto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Acilia Town's Damiano Castagna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleodoro Cayuela in the 89th minute of play. When the match was over Acilia Town could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Clube Esportivo Saudade throughout the match.
