Spectators: 7516 (Terracing: 5638, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Inácio Souza made the kick off which started today's match. Agnaldo Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Dion Jefferies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Souza in the 5th minute of play. When Martyn Heslop fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carlisle United's protests and gave Martyn Heslop a yellow card for diving instead. Martyn Heslop kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Rodrigo Saraiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Futebol Dos Parça's José Maria Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Futebol Dos Parça from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Futebol Dos Parça's José Maria Melo got control of the ball when Hugh Tyson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Futebol Dos Parça's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Bastow came free, but José Maria Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Martyn Heslop managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carlisle United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martyn Heslop was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ian Bastow hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Futebol Dos Parça's José Maria Melo got control of the ball when Hugh Tyson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Futebol Dos Parça's Rodrigo Saraiva got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Inácio Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martyn Heslop could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but José Maria Melo made a huge save. José Maria Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martyn Heslop, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 played minutes Carlisle United got a freekick which was hit by Danny Paine. The supporters of Futebol Dos Parça booed when Carlisle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugh Tyson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Saraiva notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Carlisle United's Dion Jefferies. Dion Jefferies was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Ian Bastow made the kick off in the second half. Dion Jefferies came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Futebol Dos Parça's Clemente Marinho. But to his dismay, Clemente Marinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Inácio Souza took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Dion Jefferies to make any attempt to save it. Futebol Dos Parça's José Maria Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martyn Heslop in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Rodrigo Saraiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Futebol Dos Parça fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Martyn Heslop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Melo having to interfere. José Maria Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugh Tyson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agnaldo Carioca hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Futebol Dos Parça's José Maria Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Bastow in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Hugh Tyson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Maria Melo. Futebol Dos Parça's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugh Tyson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. José Maria Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugh Tyson in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Carlisle United booed when Futebol Dos Parça was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Futebol Dos Parça's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
