Clube Esportivo Saudade's Eleodoro Cayuela got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Valentin Rosendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Machado Nieto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Rosendal went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Valentin Rosendal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Machado Nieto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Clube Esportivo Saudade's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Rosendal came free, but Machado Nieto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 played minutes Clube Esportivo Saudade got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Palacios. After some careless play in the Clube Esportivo Saudade defense, Oskar Wallmark kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Machado Nieto. The Clube Esportivo Saudade fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Machado Nieto should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Clube Esportivo Saudade getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Juvenal Silva hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleodoro Cayuela in the 33rd minute of play forced Valla Fc's goalkeeper Ulf Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Paulin Canosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd match minute, Valla Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredric Bergström to maneuver through the defense. Paulin Canosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ulf Jakobsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Valentin Rosendal made the kick off in the second half. When Paulin Canosa came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Clube Esportivo Saudade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulin Canosa couldn't finish the play. Txomin Suarez kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The Clube Esportivo Saudade fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Clube Esportivo Saudade's Eleodoro Cayuela looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paulin Canosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Jakobsson having to interfere. Clube Esportivo Saudade's Juvenal Silva quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sven-Erik Drake, made in the 70th minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Eleodoro Cayuela made a precise shot to the right of Ulf Jakobsson. Valla Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleodoro Cayuela in the 80th minute of play forced Valla Fc's goalkeeper Ulf Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by John Ambjörnsson during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Adelio Solana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Rosendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Clube Esportivo Saudade could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Valla Fc throughout the match.
