Spectators: 7554 (Terracing: 5667, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ronny Sele kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes, Ralf Wipp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ and the KFC Vliegplein players grew even worse after the yellow card. 12 minutes into the game, Davy Van Emelen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Vliegplein's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rudi Langhmans during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute of the match Pio Erne sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Octaaf Van Acht skillfully saved the ball. Ronny Seles short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Octaaf Van Acht to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 20th minute Kenny Meulemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Good saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernd Heid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Octaaf Van Acht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octaaf Van Acht was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ronny Sele showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. Rudi Langhmans was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ronny Sele's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Octaaf Van Acht skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronny Sele in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octaaf Van Acht prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bryan Tubbackx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, KFC Vliegplein's Kenny Meulemans got a free kick in the 50th minute. After 51 played minutes, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Pio Erne shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Octaaf Van Acht came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ reached it. 57 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Sele came free, but Octaaf Van Acht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octaaf Van Acht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Sele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Adam Pollakowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Pollakowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octaaf Van Acht breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernd Heid's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octaaf Van Acht read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ronny Sele's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octaaf Van Acht was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Bryan Tubbackx kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute of the match Pio Erne sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Octaaf Van Acht skillfully saved the ball. Bryan Tubbackx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Herbert Good made a huge save. KFC Vliegplein's Octaaf Van Acht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Sele in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Ronny Sele who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Vliegplein's Octaaf Van Acht was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Sele came free, but Octaaf Van Acht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronny Sele in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octaaf Van Acht saved KFC Vliegplein from getting behind. Octaaf Van Acht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Sele in the 95th minute of the match.
