Fredric Fågels short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Aurel Tilea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 10th minute, Gavril Niculiță made a precise shot to the right of Jens Wester. Gnaget United FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Jens Wester stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gigi Câmpeanu's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. A nice corner shot did that Cătălin Amuguroancei got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jens Wester quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Iordache Tutuianu hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, Fredric Fågel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aurel Tilea. Fredric Fågel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Aurel Tilea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 31 minutes into the game, Sören Odman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aurel Tilea. Sören Odman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Gavril Niculiță scored 2-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens Wester, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Otto Glanselius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Aurel Tilea made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gigi Câmpeanu was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Cazimir Iorgovan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC UNIREA Alba Iulia and the Gnaget United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aurel Tilea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sören Odman in the 56th minute of play. After 59 played minutes FC UNIREA Alba Iulia got a freekick which was hit by Gavril Niculiță. 61 minutes into the match, Gnaget United FC's goalkeeper Jens Wester had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alin Feroiu. In the 66th minute Carl Rosendal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Tilea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Ivarsson struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Aurel Tilea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gnaget United FC. Otto Glanselius kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Jens Wester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Câmpeanu in the 76th minute of play. After 87 minutes, Robert Ivarsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gnaget United FC and the FC UNIREA Alba Iulia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robert Ivarsson hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredric Fågel during the 92nd minute.
