After a rather tough play, Tabossi's Nicasio Firme got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tabossi's zone, Alin Feroiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Paul came out of the goal and Alin Feroiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Cazimir Iorgovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th play minute Gigi Câmpeanu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Omar Paul. 2-0. Americo Firmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurel Tilea having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Everardo Ixidor made a precise shot to the right of Aurel Tilea. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Tabossi's Horacio Cefero got a free kick in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gavril Niculiță got free with Omar Paul in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to FC UNIREA Alba Iulia getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Costică Ungureanu hit a great ball. Ceferino Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gigi Câmpeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horacio Cefero during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tabossi's Horacio Cefero got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After some careless play in the Tabossi defense, Gigi Câmpeanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Paul. The Tabossi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Paul should have stopped the shot. Omar Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Câmpeanu in the 65th minute of play. Nicasio Firme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Aurel Tilea made a huge save. The supporters of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia booed when Tabossi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Abascal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavril Niculiță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Paul having to interfere. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Aurel Tilea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save FC UNIREA Alba Iulia from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the game, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Gigi Câmpeanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Omar Paul made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Americo Firmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tabossi were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carmelo Roldan took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Carmelo Roldan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aurel Tilea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
