Moises Donzel struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Robert Palunko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Maradona. Robert Palunko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Donzel in the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Dean Filipec managed to get in a good position for a shot. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Dean Filipec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Pes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Santa Maradona defense, Đuro Ožbolt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gogo Pes. The Santa Maradona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gogo Pes should have stopped the shot. Rikard Hozjan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute Đuro Ožbolt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Pes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Santa Maradona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Lleir to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Đuro Ožbolt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gogo Pes had great luck who in the 59thth minute grab hold of the ball when Đuro Ožbolt from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Gogo Pes came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Đuro Ožbolt. But to his dismay, Đuro Ožbolt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 64 minutes into the match, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s goal looked a bit too open when Victor Jaunti came free, but Robert Palunko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gogo Pes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Đuro Ožbolt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Palunko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Jaunti, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Victor Jaunti was slow to take the kick. During this time Santa Maradona's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Santa Maradona's Victor Jaunti to fire away a dangerous shot which Robert Palunko despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 78th minute Moises Donzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Palunko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Đuro Ožbolt in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santa Maradona's goalie prevented a goal. Gogo Pes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Đuro Ožbolt in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 played minutes GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ got a freekick which was hit by Stjepan Crnogaj. 96 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goal looked a bit too open when Đuro Ožbolt came free, but Gogo Pes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
