Wilhelm Askelöf showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After having played for 28 minutes, Wilhelm Askelöf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stardust Unicorns XI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilhelm Askelöf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilhelm Askelöf in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Palunko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rudolf Larsfält's late challenge caught a GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rudolf Larsfält helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Stardust Unicorns XI getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Rudolf Larsfält hit a great ball. After 36 played minutes, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Stjepan Crnogaj shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manfred Wallin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ reached it. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Robert Palunko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ from getting a goal against them. In the 43rdth minute of the game Wilhelm Askelöf who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Robert Palunko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Alvin Lindsten hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Dean Filipec sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manfred Wallin skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ booed when Stardust Unicorns XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Åke Bock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manfred Wallin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Stjepan Crnogaj. Rikard Hozjan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Wilhelm Askelöf ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Palunko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Đuro Ožbolt charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Đuro Ožbolt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Wilhelm Askelöf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rdth minute of the game Wilhelm Askelöf who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Robert Palunko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Đuro Ožbolt hit a great ball. Manfred Wallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Đuro Ožbolt in the 82nd minute of the match. Dean Filipec didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Rikard Hozjan notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Stardust Unicorns XI's Manfred Wallin. Manfred Wallin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92ndth minute of the game Wilhelm Askelöf who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Robert Palunko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Đuro Ožbolt was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. In the 94th match minute, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Đuro Ožbolt to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stardust Unicorns XI had played much better football throughout.
