After 17 minutes of play, Fecha Libre's Zeledon Orland made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roque Firme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roque Firme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Beremundo went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Roque Firme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Orland in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Gorgory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Aznaro to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Gorgory's Franco Armanca threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Segundo Rozarius, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Orland in the 31st minute of play forced Gorgory's goalkeeper Roque Firme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Ismael Beremundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gorgory's Roque Firme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fecha Libre's Zeledon Orland got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, Fecha Libre's Zeledon Orland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The tension between the Gorgory and the Fecha Libre players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roque Firme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Orland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Gorgory players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fecha Libre were winning 0-3.

In the 55th minute, Zeledon Orland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roque Firme was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. With his leg Roque Firme managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Fecha Libre's Ismael Beremundo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roque Firme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Beremundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute.
