The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A well-hit corner resulted in Bizen Villafuentes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ariando Oca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Atarrabi having to interfere. Filomeno Atarrabi had great luck who in the 17thth minute grab hold of the ball when Beti Jene from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a rather tough play, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Edgard Romano got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Osvaldo Ibon struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Isauro Contero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.D Atlético Villa Gesell. Bizen Villafuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Atarrabi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Saturnino Bastia got a free kick in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natalio Martxel in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isauro Contero saved Ríver Late from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Ríver Late's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Martxel came free, but Isauro Contero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goal looked a bit too open when Beti Jene came free, but Filomeno Atarrabi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Justino Camerino. Filomeno Atarrabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beti Jene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Beti Jene shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Atarrabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Beti Jene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justino Camerino charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justino Camerino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Justino Camerino got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 68th minute, Oscar Taurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ríver Late's Isauro Contero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Ríver Late from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Ríver Late getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Urtsin Duran hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Ibon got free with Isauro Contero in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Andres Feloaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Ríver Late's Isauro Contero got control of the ball when Natalio Martxel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ríver Late were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
