In the 24th minute, Aurelio Ragusa made a precise shot to the right of Florencio Bidari. El Renacer del Quijano FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Zola Predosa FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Aurelio Ragusa hit a great ball. Domenico Varglien did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Florencio Bidari 30 minutes into the match. Domenico Varglien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Zola Predosa FC booed when El Renacer del Quijano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Romildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ezequiel Ieltxu fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Renacer del Quijano FC's protests and gave Ezequiel Ieltxu a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes El Renacer del Quijano FC got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Ieltxu. If Aurelio Ragusa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zola Predosa FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Renacer del Quijano FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
