The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Bezek fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Bezek's Wawrzyniec Wojtkiewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 25 minutes into the match, Wawrzyniec Wojtkiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paolo Bazkoare. Boedo Athletic.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wawrzyniec Wojtkiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Paolo Bazkoare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milosz Dulka in the 29th minute of the match. When Modesto Bermudez fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boedo Athletic.'s protests and gave Modesto Bermudez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute of the match Milosz Dulka shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paolo Bazkoare showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 37 played minutes Boedo Athletic. got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Uhin. In the 38th match minute, Bezek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wasyl Tyski to maneuver through the defense. Gustaw Oryl made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Severo Casado sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute, Cyryl Gozdowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Severo Casado made a precise shot to the right of Gustaw Oryl. Bezek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. After the first half Bezek were leading 2-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute, Wawrzyniec Wojtkiewicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paolo Bazkoare. The goal made the score 2-6. Miroslaw Skrzypek struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Paolo Bazkoare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bezek. Miroslaw Skrzypek took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paolo Bazkoare. Paolo Bazkoare dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7. Boedo Athletic.'s Julio Barea was substituted for Cosme Artal. 72 minutes into the game, Bezek's Miroslaw Skrzypek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paolo Bazkoare made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-8. Bezek's Wawrzyniec Wojtkiewicz came free and shot a quick shot against goal 79 minutes in the game, fortunately Paolo Bazkoare had problems saving as it came toward the left post.
