The supporters of Granate booed when Pangarés FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léo Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pangarés FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Agustin Abastas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cacá Alcântara in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Ismael Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pangarés FC's Osvaldinho Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Elazar in the 30th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Augusto Linares to strike the kick off in the second half. The Pangarés FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
