Pedro Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wágner Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to F.Salgado F.C. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rogério Meireles hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in F.Salgado F.C.'s zone, Joel Rezende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júnior Massa came out of the goal and Joel Rezende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jardel Mula kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Júnior Massa. That made the score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wágner Sousa in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Lucas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 30 played minutes F.Salgado F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gernando Baptista. The supporters of Coice de Mula booed when F.Salgado F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Vítor de Mendonça was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 48 minutes into the match. In the 50th minute there was a penalty for F.Salgado F.C.. Emanuel Bertassi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedro Lucas. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wágner Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Wágner Sousa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Lucas. Wágner Sousa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. F.Salgado F.C.'s Júnior Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Pires in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, F.Salgado F.C.'s Joélson Gaúcho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Lucas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Coice de Mula's Pedro Lucas got control of the ball when Wágner Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute Luís Eduardo Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 played minutes Wágner Sousa rounded Coice de Mula's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. The supporters of F.Salgado F.C. booed when Coice de Mula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Lucas was a little too slow when Luís Eduardo Paranaense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-5. Joel Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulão Quintal hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. F.Salgado F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
