The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aktan Mikail showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iyan Bolaños, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 8 minutes into the match, Ipar Monzonis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aktan Mikail, 1-0. When Juan-Carlos Otero came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Club Dep. Soc. Rodo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan-Carlos Otero couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's Aktan Mikail got control of the ball when Juan-Carlos Otero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aktan Mikail made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan-Carlos Otero in the 22nd minute. Aktan Mikail was a little too slow when Ipar Monzonis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 3-0. Donatello Barajo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Günay Cambaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Temel Ökkeş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aktan Mikail made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ipar Monzonis sent off a good shot on target. Juan-Carlos Otero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Aktan Mikail made a huge save. Vidal Ximeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

After 50 played minutes S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r got a freekick which was hit by Hayyam Nurkan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ipar Monzonis in the 53rd minute of play forced S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's goalkeeper Aktan Mikail to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Günay Cambaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aktan Mikail showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ipar Monzonis in the 55th minute of the match. After 57 minutes, Vidal Ximeno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Dep. Soc. Rodo and the S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vidal Ximeno hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r defense, Ipar Monzonis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aktan Mikail. The S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aktan Mikail should have stopped the shot. Aktan Mikail showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidal Ximeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's Aktan Mikail played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan-Carlos Otero in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r booed when Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vidal Ximeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aktan Mikail made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidal Ximeno in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan-Carlos Otero to maneuver through the defense. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Donatello Barajo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Club Dep. Soc. Rodo from getting a goal against them. When Temel Ökkeş fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's protests and gave Temel Ökkeş a yellow card for diving instead. Temel Ökkeş hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Batı Semi charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Batı Semi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Dep. Soc. Rodo booed when S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batı Semi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Günay Cambaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Dep. Soc. Rodo the free kick. Günay Cambaz hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Juan-Carlos Otero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan-Carlos Otero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 played minutes S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r got a freekick which was hit by Beşir Karakan. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Juan-Carlos Otero got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Club Dep. Soc. Rodo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
