The referee ignored Desportivo Lucca MZ's protests and gave Jacinto Duarte a yellow card for diving instead. Jacinto Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Brolin in the 11th minute of play forced Desportivo Lucca MZ's goalkeeper Marcelinho Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelinho Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 28th minute of the match Hermínio Leite shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Walter Drewitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 30th minute, Fredric Ambjörnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 minutes, Hans Runeberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gärsnäs BF and the Desportivo Lucca MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gärsnäs BF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Desportivo Lucca MZ reached it. A collision led to Gärsnäs BF getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Max Berg hit a great ball.
