The supporters of ............ booed when Guará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Graziani Arada got free with Célio Mendonça in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, ............'s Fernando Herquinigo got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 21st minute, Armando Gurendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guará FC's Célio Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graziani Arada in the 24th minute of play. Célio Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Graziani Arada's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Mattos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guará FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ............ the free kick. The supporters of ............ booed when Guará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graziani Arada in the 44th minute of play forced Guará FC's goalkeeper Célio Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 49th minute of the match Humberto Martelo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Célio Mendonça skillfully saved the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Graziani Arada made a kick off. Graziani Arada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Célio Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Célio Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graziani Arada in the 61st minute of play. In the 66th minute, Graziani Arada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Humberto Martelo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. A collision led to Guará FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Cristóvão Mattos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Payva in the 80th minute of play forced Guará FC's goalkeeper Célio Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Graziani Arada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Célio Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Célio Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graziani Arada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the game, Alfredinho Alvarenga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Javier Aubets was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chants of Guará FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as ............ had held the ball for most of the match.
