Spectators: 7444 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zikri Öğün kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Zikri Öğün came free, but Petrică Tărău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Raureni Academy's Petrică Tărău got control of the ball when Dilaver Ergazi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 7 minutes of play, Raureni Academy's Cazimir Traian made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hüsrev Can was left in no man's land by his defense there! Petrică Tărău made an important save on a dangerous shot by Battal Cüneyt Zahir in the 15th minute. After 30 minutes of play, Raureni Academy's Călin Barbosu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hüsrev Can was left in no man's land by his defense there! Codruț Giurcă made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by istanbulls's Dilaver Ergazi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Călin Barbosu in the 40th minute of play forced istanbulls's goalkeeper Hüsrev Can to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, istanbulls's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Barbosu came free, but Hüsrev Can reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İsmail Hakkı Mahşer was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. İsmail Hakkı Mahşer hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Cazimir Traian struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Hüsrev Can didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raureni Academy. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Călin Barbosu made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Călin Barbosu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüsrev Can saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to istanbulls getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Işık Şerhenk hit a great ball. Raureni Academy's Cazimir Traian shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hüsrev Can but with some difficulty. The crowd rose to their feet as Raureni Academy's Lucrețiu Nicolaescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hüsrev Can. That made the score 0-3 after 68 minutes of play. Battal Cüneyt Zahir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hüsrev Can took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Călin Barbosu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the game, Călin Barbosu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hüsrev Can. Călin Barbosu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 86th match minute, istanbulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zikri Öğün to maneuver through the defense. Hüsrev Can took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Călin Barbosu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hüseyin Turan Mennan hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Hüsrev Can made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Barbosu in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Hüseyin Turan Mennan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The istanbulls fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Raureni Academy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
