Spectators: 7522 (Terracing: 5642, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) In the 3rd minute Bengt-Åke Thidén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Jaraba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Montiel during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pedro Montiel hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 4 minutes, Ekhi Teresa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U Alcaravaneras and the Linköpings AIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Torleif Torstensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th match minute, U Alcaravaneras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Portillo to maneuver through the defense. Jonatan Andersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juanito Aizpurua's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Linköpings AIK's Conny Gustafsson got a free kick in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sverker Bohlin in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emilio Jaraba saved U Alcaravaneras from getting behind. In the 46th match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petter Billberg to maneuver through the defense. Xalvador Madariaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sverker Bohlin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonatan Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Portillo in the 59th minute of play. Emilio Jaraba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sverker Bohlin in the 62nd minute of the match. Robert Jansson hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Jonatan Andersson came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by U Alcaravaneras's Juanito Aizpurua. But to his dismay, Juanito Aizpurua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 73 minutes of play, Linköpings AIK's Bengt-Åke Thidén made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Jaraba was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 77 played minutes U Alcaravaneras got a freekick which was hit by Ekhi Teresa. 78 minutes into the match, Sverker Bohlin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emilio Jaraba, 2-2. Bengt-Åke Thidén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Emilio Jaraba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petter Billberg kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. U Alcaravaneras had won after a very even match.
