Niceto Daunte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Pizziolo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Enzo Rondinelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunatics of Arianrhod's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Rondinelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th match minute, Lunatics of Arianrhod was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Rondinelli to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Quilino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Giampieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano Giampieri in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaime Quilino saved Kikemania FC from getting behind. Jaime Quilino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Giampieri, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano Giampieri in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Quilino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Antonio Pizziolo got control of the ball when Salvador Garaona tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jaime Quilino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Di Girolamo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvador Garaona got free with Antonio Pizziolo in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Salvador Garaona's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Antonio Pizziolo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Corrado Capone kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Kikemania FC's Eleuterio Guipuzkoa tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Carolo Senen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kikemania FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carolo Senen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Pizziolo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Antonio Pizziolo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 46 minutes, Enzo Rondinelli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lunatics of Arianrhod and the Kikemania FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Rondinelli. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adriano Giampieri made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 54 minutes into the game, when Jorge Artaldo put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kikemania FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Jaime Quilino, was totally fooled by Lunatics of Arianrhod's Enzo Rondinelli, who 55 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to Lunatics of Arianrhod getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Antonello Michelini hit a great ball. A collision led to Kikemania FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Giampieri in the 76th minute of play forced Kikemania FC's goalkeeper Jaime Quilino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kikemania FC's Jaime Quilino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Kikemania FC from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Carolo Senen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute of the match, Anselmo Di Girolamo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jaime Quilino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Enzo Rondinelli took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Jaime Quilino to make any attempt to save it.
