With his leg Dagoberto Nogueira managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when ReyPoxo's Alarico Lastras fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. ReyPoxo's Quinton Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan Penha in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of S O B E R A N O CIMZ booed when ReyPoxo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quinton Pais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Santana in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Gil Santana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S O B E R A N O CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Wágner Ramalho took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quinton Pais. Quinton Pais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 22nd minute Cauan Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinton Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Dagoberto Nogueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save S O B E R A N O CIMZ from getting a goal against them. If Cauan Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagoberto Nogueira made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Alarico Lastras sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute Igor Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubio Solo in the 44th minute of play forced S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalkeeper Dagoberto Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Dagoberto Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alarico Lastras in the 47th minute of play. After the first half S O B E R A N O CIMZ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gil Santana to make the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 51 minutes into the game, when Epifanio Belalcaraz put in a rough tackle. The supporters of S O B E R A N O CIMZ booed when ReyPoxo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Belalcaraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dagoberto Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Quintana in the 56th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Júlio Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Arce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quinton Pais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the game, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Gil Santana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Quinton Pais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Moisés Castelao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Nogueira having to interfere. Dagoberto Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubio Solo in the 71st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Tepedino during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dagoberto Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Quintana in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to S O B E R A N O CIMZ getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Thomás Arantes hit a great ball. In the 89th minute Igor Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Igor Quintana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dagoberto Nogueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Chants of S O B E R A N O CIMZ echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as ReyPoxo had held the ball for most of the match.
